Otorhinolaryngology (ENT)
The ENT (Otorhinolaryngology) Service at "Nairi" Medical Center offers instrumental diagnostics, treatment, and complex surgical interventions for diseases of the nose, paranasal sinuses, pharynx, larynx, and ears, using the latest endoscopic and microsurgical technologies. Both therapeutic and surgical treatments are performed, including endoscopic and radical surgeries of all sinuses, plastic surgeries of the external nose and auricles, nasal septum correction and repair of septal perforations, removal of palatine tonsils and nasopharyngeal adenoids, uvulopalatoplasty for sleep apnea caused by soft palate prolapse, therapeutic and surgical treatment of the vocal cords, as well as correction of congenital anomalies such as choanal atresia.
The department is equipped with state-of-the-art diagnostic and surgical equipment from leading companies, including diagnostic tools by Karl Storz, Heinemann, and Carl Zeiss, and surgical technologies from Karl Storz (endoscopy), Medtronic (navigation), Leica (microscopy), and ArthroCare Coblator-II (electrosurgical systems).
It is noteworthy that along with high-tech equipment, "Nairi" Medical Center continues to expand the scope of combined surgeries. Large-scale operations are performed in collaboration with ENT surgeons, neurosurgeons, ophthalmologists, maxillofacial, and thoracic surgeons.
